Christine Ammann was born in Germany where using herbs for minor ailments is common practise. This gave her an interest in complementary therapies from an early age. After losing her mother at the age of 22, she was further inspired to live her life to the fullest and to nurture her own physical and mental wellbeing. In 1986, Christine migrated to Australia with her partner, where she continued her clerical training and worked for various companies in Adelaide. She discovered kinesiology in 1997 while searching for an explanation for her children's health concerns. Both children suffered from allergies, digestive problems and severe headaches with no apparent physical cause. After only a few kinesiology treatments their headaches and stomach pains disappeared completely, the allergies became more manageable, and their behaviour, reading and writing ability improved. Following the profound success of kinesiology on her own family, Christine began studying this modality herself. Since 2001 she has been consulting from a well respected and busy general medical practice in Adelaide as a Registered Specialised Kinesiology Practitioner, NLP Practitioner and Bowen Therapist and incorporates all of her kinesiology studies as well as CranioSacral Therapy, Homeopathy, Foot Reflexology and Bush Flower Essences in her consultations. She continually is increasing her knowledge in Kinesiology and other complementary therapies and holds a Diploma in Kinesiology and Bowen Therapy, a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment and is an accredited instructor and assessor of many kinesiology modalities. In addition, she has developed her own Kinesiology courses Christine continues to share her passion with others by teaching kinesiology at the Royal Adelaide and other hospitals, as well as delivering kinesiology training from beginner to practitioner level.
